Bring any food and drink you may want for your trip duration along with a cooler to store them in. We also recommend hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, towels, SPF lip balm, close toe shoes, and any necessary medications.

Our fishing trip packages include fishing gear and tackle, all fishing licenses, bait, and ice boxes for the day's catch.

No, our fishing trips are suitable for both experienced and novice anglers. Our crew will provide instruction and assistance as needed.

Remaining balance + mate tip is due at the conclusion of the trip. Cash, check and major credit cards accepted

Mates work exclusively for tips. 20%+ is standard

Absolutely. We believe fishing is fun for the whole family! However we recommend only bringing children aged 5+ on offshore fishing trips as the deck can become hectic and dangerous in the midst of a fight with a trophy fish.

Children under the age of 13 must wear a USCG approved life jacket aboard the Sea Reaper. We supply life jackets, however after booking, please contact us directly with the age and size of any children prior to your tip to ensure their comfort.

The Sea Reaper is a USCG inspected vessel equipped with personal flotation devices (life jackets) for all on board, a life raft, survival suits, and more.

This is NOT medical advice, please consult your doctor before taking any medications.

  • If using an antiemetic to prevent vomiting/sea sickness, we recommend asking your doctor about "non-drowsy" versions
  • Anglers report best results by applying the antiemetic the night before a trip
  • Eat a light breakfast the morning of the trip, skip the coffee if possible
  • Avoid alcohol the day before the trip
  • If you begin to feel sick, STAY STANDING and keep your eyes on the horizon. Lying down or sitting will intensify the nausea.
  • Stay out on the deck during the ride out to the fishing grounds

Seasickness is related to movement and nerve signaling in the inner ear canal, not any form of mental "toughness."

If you begin to feel sick, please make your way to the deck and let the first mate know. Our mates are trained and accustom to aiding seasick passengers. Please DO NOT go to the bathroom when feeling sick or needing to vomit. The bathroom is located below deck, which will intensify any motion sickness.

All trips cancelled within 14 days of departure time are subject to non-refund. If your trip is cancelled by the Captain due to bad weather, you will be refunded or have the option to reschedule.

  • Your deposit is required by credit card, check, or cash to secure the trip.
  • If you are only paying the 50% deposit, your balance is due upon the completion of your trip and can be paid by credit card or cash/check.
  •  You are welcome to add a tip for your captain/mate on your credit card or tip in cash (20% is customary for the mate).
  • All cancellations or changes to your reservation must be done through your captain by phone or email communication.

Cancellation policy is 14 days. Deposits are taken at booking and remaining balance and tip for the mate are due upon trip conclusion.
